IftheSFPdoesnotslidesmoothlyintotheI/Omodule,makesurethatthe
orientat
ion of the SFP is correct.
5. Gently pull the SFP to confirm that it is inserted correctly.
If the SF P com es out of the slot when you pull it, repeat Step 4.
6. Remove th
e dust cover that protects the ports.
7. Connect the new cables to the SFP.
If you are using the redundant port on the GE I/O module, repeat
Steps 2–7 for the other port.
