Tools and Parts Required

To remove com ponents from the chassis or the chassis from a rack, you need the following

tools and parts:

• Mechanical lift, if available

• Phillips (+) screwdrivers, numbers 1 and 2

• Electrostatic damage (ESD) grounding wrist strap

Return Procedure

When you need to return a component, follow this procedure:

1. Determine the part number and serial number of the component . For instructions,

see “Locate Component Serial Numbers” on page 164.
